If you want to support Little Known Help Zone’s mission of helping other children in school in a simple, and relevant way, consider buying these recycled crayons. Not only are they colorful, friendly for little kid’s hands, and come in glitter and plain options, they are recycled from old crayons so they reduce waste. As always, the crayons help to then supply other classrooms of children from low income schools.

2015-2016 Season Focus: Guatemalan Education Scholarship Fund
While all three causes of Little Known Help Zone are of equal importance, this season specific focus will be placed on education in Guatemala, specifically the formation of a scholarship fund. For the Guatemalan 2016 school year, 2 students, one boy and one girl in high school, are sponsored. In addition to the school sponsorship, one outside family need will be donated to these students.
Once the 2017 school year arrives, the scholarship plan is as follows:
-4 males, 4 females will be fully sponsored for a year of education.
-2 students from each schooling level will be supported, preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school.
-These 8 students, in addition to full school sponsorship, will receive a donation for one additional need of the family.
-This scholarship will then follow a legacy, hopefully supporting the same students years to come so they graduate and their family situation is made better.
For example, Julio Cesar is supported for the 9th grade in 2016 and will be receiving an additional donation to help his family. As Julio enters the 10th grade in 2017, he will receive the same support and additional donation until he graduates. This insures graduation of students.
To accomplish this ambitious scholarship, funds will need to be raised over the 2015-2016 season to substantiate the scholarship fund and make this dream a reality.
