In just a week, Little Known Help Zone will be in Granada, Nicaragua, meeting with organizations for future collaborations and will also be delivering supplies!
First is Puedo Leer Library. The library is a wonderful organization that has several library locations and works to put locations and book cabinets in rural schools. We will be donating spanish language books and small prize rewards to encourage their reading program. Learn more at http://www.puedoleerlibrary.com/
We also will be donating to La Esperanza Granada. This organization works with children to improve education and their lives. We will be donating workbooks, clothes, toys, and school crafting supplies. Read more at http://www.la-esperanza-granada.org/.
We just want to thank everyone for all their support, and stay tuned for photos!
If you were intrigued by the bracelets being sold to benefit Costa Rica, you can now purchase one for yourself on the Little Known Help Zone Etsy shop!
There’s a variety of color combinations, and they are great gifts for both boys and girls, kids and adults!
The bracelets are selling for $6 each, and all of the proceeds go to the Costa Rica Jumpstart Program to help a child go to an intensive 4 week camp to learn English through amigosofcostarica.org

They make great Christmas gifts!
The fundraiser is complete and ready to go for tomorrow night!
A donation jar has been made, 4 various signs to advertise the charity and what is being sold, as well as a handout to give to those interested so they can learn more about my charity!
The handout is posted above, and stay tuned for the final results of the event and photos from the display!
The Costa Rica fundraising portion has been completed!
If you don’t remember, Little Known Help Zone is raising money to send a child to the Jumpstart English Language learning camp in Costa Rica through Amigos of Costa Rica. (amigosofcostarica.com)
50 bracelets sold at $4 a piece will raise the necessary money to send this child. As the fundraiser continues, a tally will be kept of how many were sold.
The bracelet selection includes various items from the easy shop, as well as 37 new bracelets made by Little Known Help Zone. These are soda tab bracelets, but they are smaller to fit child sized wrists. Many also fit adult wrists. What makes these special is 20 of them were made by my Gifted Seminar class, one class working to send a student to class abroad.
Here’s a peak of the bracelets.
Remember, if you can’t make it to the Fall Festival at Western Salisbury Elementary, you can still support the cause by ordering online at etsy.com/shop/littleknownhelpzone
After the fundraiser, Little Known Help Zone will work to have these bracelets sold at local shops as well as online to support the cause!
