Monthly Classroom Project: Esperanza Charter Academy

On Monday, Little Known Help Zone paid a visit to the Esperanza Charter Academy, donating to the 2nd grade classrooms. The kids were out on a field trip that day, but it was great to see the North Philadelphia facility and meet some of the administrative staff and leaders.

This growing charter school is devoted to its students success, and we were happy to donate to three different classrooms!

Monthly Classroom Project- St. Labre Indian School- Montana

For Little Known Help Zone’s Back to School Monthly Classroom Project event, we donated to the 3 campuses of the St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Montana.

About St. Labre:

At St. Labre, we believe that all students deserve a superior education and that all students can achieve at the highest levels by educating the whole child.  Beginning with pre-school and kindergarten, through high school we provide an exceptional education to nearly 750 students across three Southeastern Montana campuses.  In addition to our regular program of elementary and secondary education, we offer classes in home economics, music and art, and a full complement of sports and athletics.

The St. Labre educational experience also places great importance on Native American culture and tradition. Instruction in Native American languages and culture is a vital part of the curriculum. We also offer courses in Native American literature, history, and tribal government.

Included in this package was over $100 of much needed school supplies, including pencils, dry erase markers, gluesticks, and more. Additionally, thanks to the generosity of Robert Sherry, we were able to send 50 hats so the students can stay warm during the cold winter months.

Special thanks to Robert Sherry for setting this partnership up, Little Known Help Zone could not think of a school they would like to assist more for the Back to School Season!

Monthly Classroom Project Donations

Yesterday, Little Known Help Zone visited Washington Elementary School in Allentown, PA to donate school supplies for our monthly classroom project. We brought over $500 worth of supplies to 2 classrooms.

Ms. Lovelidge is a wonderful first grade teacher who really emphasizes the arts in her class. She gives her students an outlet to be creative and express themselves, and they love it. You should see their beautiful creations!

Ms. Brennert is an English as a Second Language teacher to over 50 students! It was vital to bring her the basics so she could supply her classrooms with what they need to feel more empowered and ready in school.
