Julio Cesar Sponsorship for 2016

It’s time again for Mayan Children Sponsorships so they can go to school, and Little Known Help Zone has responsored the past sponsored student Julio Cesar to continue for another year of school. This was made possible by generous donations during Bryn Mawr events and through speaking at PETE&C. For $360, Julio will attend school for another year and further his education which would otherwise be impossible.

If you remember, LKHZ has sponsored two students in the past, including Julio Cesar. The other student, Brenda, is graduating this year, but Julio still has a few years in high school to go. LKHZ also donated a bed to Julio’s family in December.

Once Julio finishes school, LKHZ will stop student sponsorships for the moment to create a more comprehensive program that is more inclusive of children in need rather than of specific students.

The Donation Is In- Two Girls Are Going to School in Guatemala

After over a year of hard work and the generosity of the KTI 2015 Family, a longtime goal has been achieved. Not one, but two girls in Guatemala are now set to go to school for a year. Little Known Help Zone is officially the sponsor of Claudia Marina and Brenda Yohana, two 11th grade girls. Read the last post to find out more about their interest and background https://littleknownhelpzone.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/sponsoring-high-school-education-in-guatemala/

This is just the beginning, as hopefully more money can be raised to continue sponsoring children. In a perfect world, every child will be able to go to school. Let’s make this a perfect world.

This is such a heartwarming experience, and I can’t wait to see what comes in the future.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

Fundraiser Cause #2- Guatemala

The next cause that Little Known Help Zone will be raising money for is Mayan Families in Guatemala.

Specifically, we will be raising money to send a Guatemalan child to school for a year. For $360, a child can attend school for one year and further their education to move on in life and support their families.

Little Known Help Zone will be selling erasers and pencil toppers at $1 a piece to benefit these students, and hopefully enough money will be raised to send a child to school! Stay tuned for more!
