Saturday morning was a wonderful time for Little Known Help Zone at WSE’s color-a-thon after party.
This event was bustling and busy, with tattoos and manicures that were quite a hit. Also, some more crayons and bracelets were sold! The success raised $55 more for the causes, and right now we are at 201/860 with the goal! Getting there.
Check our some pictures from the event below.
For Little Known Help Zone’s next fundraiser, there will be a stand at Western Salisbury’s PTA Color Run After Party.
At the stand, crayons, bracelets, and paperclip bookmarks will be sold. Information will be shared about Little Known Help Zone and its goals, and there will also be some fun activities! There will be nail painting and tattoos for sale.
Prices for the goods & services are as follows…
Nail Painting- $2.00
Hope to see everyone there!
The crayons are for sale on Etsy, and Little Known Help Zone highly recommends you check them out!
The crayons are being sold in packs of 5, both with and without glitter. The packs are $10, and are such a steal!
All the money goes to send a child in Guatemala to school through the program run by Mayan Families. To send a child to school, $360 need to be raised. Buying a pack of crayons would help greatly with this fundraiser!
These crayons make perfect gifts, and everyone can enjoy them.

Last night was thoroughly successful, and Little Known Help Zone is so excited to share the results.
The table set up was great and brought in a lot of attention.
Many people were interested in the items being sold and the work I was doing.
The bracelets were a popular item amongst adults and children, and the kids loved the crayons!
In addition to raising $93.10 for the causes, Little Known Help Zone gained some great exposure!
Through additional fundraising efforts, Little Known Help Zone hopes to reach the goal! We’re 1/8 of the way there!
The work for Guatemala has been complete.
Little Known Help Zone will be selling handmade crayons, a dollar a piece, to raise the $360 needed to send a child to school in Guatemala through mayanfamilies.org
No crayon is the same, just like no child is the same.
As of now, 6 dozen crayons are available to buy, and Little Known Help Zone is requesting donations of broken or old crayons from locals in the community to work and make more crayons. The more sold, the more children sent to school!
The crayons will be spread out on the table so children can view all of them and choose.
After the event, these will be listed on easy for purchase.
