January Classroom Visit

On January 18th, LKHZ visited Washington Elementary to deliver about $150 worth of school supplies, including items from our sponsor Myndology, This was a wonderful day spent crafting first with Ms. Emert’s classroom then donating to Ms. Day and Ms. Guranich’s class. The children had lots of questions about the crown and sash and enjoyed the visit.

Little Known Help Zone: Giving the Children What They Need

On Saturday, January 13th, Makenna Lenover, the founder of Little Known Help Zone, was crowned Miss Freedom Forge 2018. This means that Little Known Help Zone is now her platform, where she’ll be advocating for supplying children with what they need for educational success and empowering them in their goals.

Little Known Help Zone’s action, the monthly classroom project, will continue along with an advocacy portion with speaking engagements and a legacy that involves encouraging youth to act and make an effort to make a difference in their communities.
