Gunmetal and Aventurine Bracelet

Perfect for summer, the newest piece of jewelry in the Etsy shop is a one of a kind piece you’ll want to get your hands on. This gunmetal bracelet is made with the authentic gemstone Aventurine as an accent in the center and closes with a clasp.

All money from this bracelet goes to Little Known Help Zone’s projects. Currently, LKHZ is working to start an after school arts program in gang areas of Honduras as an alternative to joining gangs. Support today!

Julio Cesar Sponsorship for 2016

It’s time again for Mayan Children Sponsorships so they can go to school, and Little Known Help Zone has responsored the past sponsored student Julio Cesar to continue for another year of school. This was made possible by generous donations during Bryn Mawr events and through speaking at PETE&C. For $360, Julio will attend school for another year and further his education which would otherwise be impossible.

If you remember, LKHZ has sponsored two students in the past, including Julio Cesar. The other student, Brenda, is graduating this year, but Julio still has a few years in high school to go. LKHZ also donated a bed to Julio’s family in December.

Once Julio finishes school, LKHZ will stop student sponsorships for the moment to create a more comprehensive program that is more inclusive of children in need rather than of specific students.
