The third and final country Little Known Help Zone will be helping this fundraiser is Honduras, a repetitive country in Little Known Help Zone’s history.
This time, we will be donating to Mama Tara’s orphanage, specifically towards their playground. Mama Tara supports the Miskito Indians, who live on the Mosquito coast and are caught in the fire of Honduran drug wars. The goal is to raise $200, hopefully enough to put in a seesaw, or another fun playground piece! It is a firm belief of Little Known Help Zone that while it is important to help with the necessities, it is also important to bring smiles and support the sheer delights of childhood.
To raise this money, we will be selling baked goods to bring smiles to children’s faces there. A smile for a smile.
Additionally, we will be sharing information about a great opportunity where coupon clipping can help Mama Tara. If you visit Common Kindess http://www.commonkindness.com/printable-grocery-coupons and create an account then chose Mama Tara, the orphanage receives a portion of the advertisement fee based off how many coupons are clipped for them.

The next cause that Little Known Help Zone will be raising money for is Mayan Families in Guatemala.
Specifically, we will be raising money to send a Guatemalan child to school for a year. For $360, a child can attend school for one year and further their education to move on in life and support their families.
Little Known Help Zone will be selling erasers and pencil toppers at $1 a piece to benefit these students, and hopefully enough money will be raised to send a child to school! Stay tuned for more!

The fall fundraiser will focus on three causes in three different countries, and the first announced cause is the JumpStart program run by Amigos of Costa Rica.
Two hundred dollars pays for a student to attend this four-week intensive English Camp, and Little Known Help Zone is going to raise the money to send a kid to learn English by selling soda tab bracelets, a sustainable idea that stemmed from a trip to Costa Rica.
Since the majority of the crowd will be young kids, these bracelets will be sold for $4 a piece. The aim is to sell 50, because with 50 bracelets one kid can go to the JumpStart Camp!
The next few weeks will be sent making all 50 of the bracelets, and if you would like to order or help, please contact!
Just one of many facets of the fall fundraiser, this project should lead to many great things.
Stay tuned to read about the other parts as they are released, and read more about JumpStart here!
Little Known Help Zone is pleased to announce an event on October 24th to raise awareness and money for the charity!
My old elementary school is allowing me to bring Little Known Help Zone to their Fall Fest and sell items to raise funds and share information.
There will be informational signs and literature, t shirts for sale, a donation jar, and most excitingly, a sale of 3 various crafts. with the money from the crafts going to 3 different charities in Central America! The monetary donations from these sales will be part of a Christmas Project, and the crafts will be released soon with their charitable causes!
Stay tuned for specific pieces from the Fall Fundraising Collection and the cause goals!
